CASE STUDY: BUSINESS to BUSINESS

Up against mega-corporations the likes of US Foods and Sysco, Quandt's Foodservice Distribution needed to stand out in the local marketplace. The first step? A fresh new website.

Redesigned to serve as a tool for the sales force, the new site includes blogging features that enable Quandt's employees to update the site with events, new product information, specials & promotions, and overall market trends. Inspired by the history of the company, the design also incorporates updated imagery, family photographs, and a bright, engaging the color palette.

In addition to reaching customers, Quandt's needed an equally engaging campaign to reach vendors. Enter, "The Perfect Family Recipe."

Every year, Quandt's seeks marketing support to better promote vendor products in the field. Trampoline developed "The Perfect Family Recipe" utilizing HTML emails, personalized brochures, presentation materials, and Personal URL's to present the marketing "ask" and reach vendors on a new level. 

These tools, many unconventional in the foodservice industry, demonstrated Quandt's ever-growing desire to promote themselves and their vendors with enthusiasm and pride. As a result of these materials, several vendors who would have otherwise cut their marketing budgets in 2010 given the economic challenges of 2008/09, either re-upped at their previous dollar investment or increased their contribution to the 2010 marketing program.
