
Sacandaga Outdoor Center is an in-your-face, experience-life-to-the-fullest kind of place. The website needed to view like a ride. The S.O.C. site was designed with the humor, likability and authenticity of its owner, John Duncan, in mind. A background of earth tones framed the bold reds and yellows of the S.O.C. mark, while crisp lines and rapid switch images evoked the sense of chopping through rapids and river boulders. Pop-up windows within the site offered bite-sized bits of information on everything from gear to what to expect. Much like S.O.C. itself, the website projected a message of needing to experience it, to really get it. Click here to view the site.
